Jennifer Nasser, MSPAS, PA-C
Mrs. Nasser completed her undergraduate studies at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania and received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from DeSales University in Center Valley, also in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Nasser is a Board Certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA, is a Licensed and Registered Physician Assistant through the Maryland Board of Physicians, and a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Mrs. Nasser has experience as certified nursing assistant caring for the elderly, and as student athletic trainer for college athletes. She began her career as a physician assistant at Johns Hopkins University, in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Baltimore. At Johns Hopkins, Mrs. Nasser specialized in the surgical and non-surgical management of shoulder, upper extremity conditions, and in sports medicine. Her experience there included surgical first assisting, teaching residents/medical students, preceptorship of physician assistant students, managing patient care and pain pre- and post-operatively, and participating in shoulder surgery research projects. Mrs. Nasser believes that leading a healthy and active lifestyle is an imperative part of improving a patient’s function and reducing their pain, and works with each patient to help them increase their activity tolerance and get back to the activities that they enjoy. With her compassionate manner and clinical experience in her field, she is highly motivated to help her patients reach their pain treatment goals. In her free time, Mrs. Nasser enjoys going to the gym, reading, designing and creating jewelry, and sewing.
